Hot & Cold Faucet Seats

What is this?

This is a pair of high-quality replacement faucet seats designed for manual valve bodies. These are the fixed brass components located inside the faucet body that the stems press against to stop the flow of water.

What does it do?

• Ensures a Tight Seal: If your faucet continues to drip even after you have replaced the internal stems or washers, the "seats" are likely pitted or worn. These new components provide a perfectly smooth surface for the stem washers to press against.

   

• Extends Faucet Life: Replacing the seats allows you to restore an older valve body to like-new condition without having to cut into the wall to replace the entire plumbing fixture.

• Prevents Washer Damage: A rough or corroded seat will quickly "chew up" new rubber washers. Installing these smooth brass seats ensures your internal gaskets last much longer.

• Dual Temperature Set: This kit includes two seats, allowing you to refresh both the hot and cold sides of your faucet simultaneously for a complete repair.

Will it fit my needs?

These seats are designed for use with specific shower and laundry valve series, particularly the Temptrol manual valve systems. They feature a standard threaded exterior for easy installation into the valve body using a seat wrench. If you are performing a "major" rebuild on a manual faucet, replacing the seats is a highly recommended step.
